Prof. Borden gave a seminar yesterday in Biomedical Engineering at the Imperial College London. Thanks to Prof. James Choi and his students and colleagues for an interesting and enjoyable visit. Lots of outstanding research going on here!
Prof. Borden just visited Prof. Eleanor Stride and the BUBBL group at Oxford University to give a seminar and discuss ongoing projects and collaborations between the two labs. It was a great visit – friendly and brilliant people who do fascinating science and engineering!
Research is ongoing at the University of Florence. Together with Francesco Guidi and Alessandro Ramalli, we are investigating the echoes of microbubbles using plane-wave ultrasound imaging.
Last week, the Uffizi museum in Florence opened an exhibition of Leonardo’s “Adoration of the Magi” (or 3 Kings) following 6 years of restoration. This unfinished work displays the creative genius of the great renaissance engineer.
